Connecting iPads and iPhones to Nomad

Sometimes an iPad or iPhone will not connect to Nomad. A common fix to this issue is to delete Safari’s history and cookies. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Safari.
  3. Click Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
  4. Navigate back to nomad.ncsu.edu and have the individual log in.
  5. Scroll down to Add a Device.
  6. If this works, the MAC address of the device should be automatically filled in and you should be able to name the device. This should solve the problem. If it still does not work, clear the history and cookies again.
