Collaboration Spaces
Engineering has set aside specially configured rooms or designated spaces within a lab where engineering students, faculty and staff can meet to work on projects together. Designed with technology to support collaborative work and interaction, these learning spaces typically have one or two engineering workstations connected to a large monitor, with network connections for individual laptops. Collaboration spaces follow the same schedule as the regular labs in their building.
Location | Accommodations |
---|---|
111 Lampe Dr. 226 | 5 open spaces |
111 Lampe Dr. 228 | 1 private space |
Fitts-Woolard Hall 2351 | 2 open spaces |

Lab Policies
The College of Engineering provides a modern, distributed computing environment for student academic use. In order to preserve the utility and flexibility of the system, protect the privacy and work of students and faculty, and maintain access to the network, users of these computer facilities are expected to abide by the following policies.
- Food, drink, and smokeless tobacco products are not permitted.
- Do your part to keep the labs conducive to work and study. Treat these spaces as quiet zones by keeping your voice low and your devices silenced. Headsets are required while consuming audio materials and should not be audible to others.
- Do not unplug power cords for any equipment to charge personal devices.
- Safeguard the equipment–yours and the labs.
- Keep your belongings organized and confined to your study area.
- Do not attempt to move, repair, reconfigure or modify any of the lab computers.
- Do not attach devices other than headphones, USB storage devices and accessibility equipment to the lab computers.
- Report any issues to the ITECS Service Desk by calling 515-2458 or by sending an email to eoshelp@ncsu.edu.
