Description
The LabVIEW Student Install Option, provided by National Instruments as part of our license for the College of Engineering, allows students to install LabVIEW on their personally owned computers.
Additional Usage Notes
- The Student Install Option is only for installation on students' personally owned computers.
- The Student version may not be installed on any NCSU-owned computers. The correct version for NCSU-owned computers is the full version.
- The list of components included in our license is here: NI Academic Volume License: LabVIEW Option. We have the "NI Academic Volume License: LabVIEW Option".
- There are only 500 license activations per year for the College. Please be considerate and only activate the LabVIEW Student Install if you will need to use it often.
- Online training is available at the NI Learning Center.
User Agreement
I agree that I will only install the LabVIEW Student Install option on a computer that I personally own.
I agree to only use the LabVIEW Student Install in conjunction with coursework.
Installation Notes
- The LabVIEW Student Install Option Installation Instructions, are restricted to students enrolled in COE courses and COE faculty.
- To activate LabVIEW, you will need to create a free NI account per the above instructions. Use your NCSU email when creating the account.
