After installing Origin, some users report having to input the flex servers and TCP/IP port in order for the license to work.
This problem occurs when the user does not install the program as an administrator. There are two possible fixes for this issue.
- Input the Origin flex server info. The license information dialog box should open when you launch Origin. Input the following information:
- FLEXlm Server: origin.eos.ncsu.edu
- TCP/IP port: 63488
- Uninstall the program and then reinstall the program with administrative privileges. To do this, right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
