Disabling PDF Viewer in Google Chrome

If you are having trouble opening PDF files in the Google Chrome browser, please follow the steps below:

  1. Verify that PDFs can open in other browsers.
  2. Make sure the Adobe reader is enabled.
  3. If Adobe reader is enabled, type in the address bar: chrome://plugins.
  4. Disable the Chrome PDF viewer.
  5. Verify that it works by opening a PDF.
    Note: If any yellow bar pops up asking for permission just select allow for this website.
